Today is my anniversary. 9 years ago Beth and I made a promise to grow old together.
How did we celebrate this special day? A trip to Ikea for lunch (I had 15 meatballs, Beth had 10. 10 is the correct number to have) then a wander around the Metro Centre. HMV have Bruce Springsteen as their artist of the month – lots of his CDs and DVDs were only £5 – I had to buy a few!
And if you want a proper food recommendation (rather than Ikea Meatballs) try The Bay Horse in Hurworth. Wow!! The most amazing food – try the Pressed Pork Belly (officially called Mark Brandy’s Rare Breed Pressed Belly Pork, Black Pudding, Chunky Apple Sauce & Mustard Jus) – it’s amazing.
