A trip to Simonstone Hall in gorgeous Wensleydale today (yes, home of the cheese) for the wedding of Kerry and Paul. The weather remained (mostly) dry and we had a fantastic day.
Simonstone Hall is a lovely venue, with the most amazing views and I’m really grateful to Caroline, the Hotel’s manager for looking after us so well – thank you. x
Kerry looked amazing in her Maggie Sottero dress, and although Paul and the boys looked stylish in their suits, I’m not convinced about the under-garments they sported. At Kerry’s request, I do have some incriminating photographs, but they aren’t getting posted on this blog!
So here are some of my favourite moments from the day.
I think Kerry looks a bit like Wonder-Woman here! (I didn’t ask her to do that – it’s a very important step in putting the dress on.)

Today I took Kate and Bobby on their pre-wedding shoot.
A couple of hours on a very windy Saltburn beach passed by very quickly. It was quite a struggle to keep Kate out of the sea, but towards the end of the session she donned her brand new (and free – through her job) Red Wellies and had a good paddle. Bobby, unfortunately had no wellies, so he just got cold (and wet) feet.

What a fantastic day we had at Aldwark Manor Hotel in North Yorkshire, even if we were dodging the rain. Thankfully we avoided the snow that was forecast. Victoria looked amazing in her dress – although let’s not talk about the serious hassle she had from the dress shop!! At least the dress arrived (eventually!), and Tom looked stylish in the bright pink waistcoat (pronounced ‘Wais-kit’ in Yorkshire!).
The star of the show though was probably young Ben, who provided some great entertainment during the speeches.
