Hi had a lovely time with Claire and Justin today. They’re getting married later this month at Aldwark Manor, near York. Aldwark is a lovely venue - I really enjoyed working there for Vic and Tom’s wedding back in April.
Despite a lot of rain recently it remained (mostly) dry as we went for a walk around Claire and Justin’s home in Stockton on the Forrest, just outside York. Their black labrador is probably the best behaved dog I’ve ever met and as lovely as Claire and Justin’s photographs are, I think he stole the show!

What a fantastic day we had at Aldwark Manor Hotel in North Yorkshire, even if we were dodging the rain. Thankfully we avoided the snow that was forecast. Victoria looked amazing in her dress – although let’s not talk about the serious hassle she had from the dress shop!! At least the dress arrived (eventually!), and Tom looked stylish in the bright pink waistcoat (pronounced ‘Wais-kit’ in Yorkshire!).
The star of the show though was probably young Ben, who provided some great entertainment during the speeches.

Simon was very envious that Tom had his tie fastened so quickly !
